Wally

Built by a sailor who could not find the boat he wanted, and still built for owners who feel the same way. Every Wally starts from the same question: why accept less than what the water allows.

About Wally

Wally began in 1991, when Luca Bassani could not find a sailing yacht that matched what he had in mind and built one himself. The result was Wallygator, an 83 foot sloop, and word of her spread quickly enough among sailors that Bassani founded the company in Monaco a few years later. He went straight into building Wallygator II, later renamed Nariida, the first yacht built entirely of carbon fiber.

In the early 2000s, Wally carried that same thinking into powerboats with the Wallytender. The Wally 118 followed soon after, notable for its vertical bow, glass superstructure, and folding bulwarks, a design distinctive enough that San Francisco's Museum of Modern Art selected it for its exhibition Glamour: Fabricating Affluence. Wally went on to build displacement motor yachts, joined the Ferretti Group in 2019, and introduced the Wallypower 58X, carrying the same instincts into its current generation.
